Listed below are some of the thoughtful things our members and associates are doing to facilitate positive change. These daily and regular changes, which in themselves don’t seem to be that much, can make a huge difference collectively.
Below are some ideas from similarly conscientious women that will inspire.
“I have discovered perennial vegetables and today planted Walking Onions, Taunton Dean Kale and Babington leeks. It’s easily the most exciting thing going on in my life!”
“I invested in, and then started to shop at, a packaging free supermarket.”
“We now wash and “ecobrick” any non-recyclable materials that we produce.”
“We’ve bought a composter for the garden.”
“I started volunteering at a baby bank called Little Village, a charity that is based on the repurposes of baby and family items. I’m specialising in fixing prams and buggies so that their lifecycles are extended.”
“I stopped using contact lenses as they’re non-recyclable and returned to glasses. However, after getting in touch with Johnson and Johnson, they have since started a nationwide recycling service, so I’m able to use them again guilt-free!”.
